Prerequisites & Environment Check
Verify your node hardware meets DOSFI's minimum requirements before provisioning.
DOSFI accepts any device that passes the readiness scoring threshold. Before connecting, confirm your hardware profile and network conditions meet the minimums below.
CPU
4+ logical cores, x86-64 or ARM64
RAM
8 GB minimum, 16 GB recommended
Storage
20 GB free disk space
OS
Linux (Ubuntu 20.04+), macOS 12+, Windows 11
Network
Stable connection, ≥ 50 Mbps upload
Uptime expectation
≥ 6 hrs/day for active scoring
Devices with active thermal throttling, < 20% battery, or flagged trust anomalies are automatically de-scored by the Readiness Engine and will not receive compute shards until conditions improve.
